Der Begriff Singold hat genau genommen nichts mit 'Singen' oder mit 'Gold' zu tun. Auf seinem Weg nach Norden durchquert das schäbische Flüsschen Singold unter anderem auch Rocky's Heimatort Langerringen sowie Schwabmünchen and Großaitingen und mündet schließlich im Augsburger Stadtteil Göggingen in den Fabrikkanal, einen künstlich geschaffenen Nebenarm der Wertach. Der Titel ist erst vor kurzer Zeit entstanden. Für Rocky ist der Fluss Singold etwas Lebendiges, was ihn in seiner Musik inspiriert und für ihn singt und schwingt.

Technically, the term Singold has nothing to do with 'singing' or with 'gold'. The Singold is a small river in Swabia. On its way north, the Singold passes through Rocky's hometown of Langerringen, as well as Schwabmünchen and Großaitingen, among others, and finally flows into the Fabrikkanal, an artificially created tributary of the Wertach, in the Göggingen district of Augsburg. The title was created only a short time ago. For Rocky, the river Singold is something alive, which inspires him in his music and sings and swings for him.
